@rcrackley She’s a huge Elliott Smith fan and at her best captures some of his magic with a lyric and melody.
@rcrackley I don’t think I’d buy the guitar pedal, but Phoebe Bridgers used the plugin version by Goodhertz to interesting effect on the Punisher record. It helped created a fairly distinct “the dream of the 90’s is a melancholy nightmare that haunts my waking life” vibe. 😆

@rcrackley Thanks for mentioning Slow Salvation! I hadn’t heard them, but I tracked down the album, saw it had 8 tracks(!!!), and had a feeling it would be a winner. Enjoying it very much!
@rcrackley In the opinion of this semi-professional listener, it’s a real gem of a record. Also, I think 8 tracks is the perfect length for an album. There are, of course, longer records that are amazing, but 8 well-sequenced and solid songs always feels like a little marvel.
